(More customer reviews)I'm new to the world of violin mutes and figured I'd try this one out. It fits really nicely on my fiddle. Easy to put on and remove. It doesn't mute the fiddle all that much - so if you are looking for a way to really cut down on the sound, this is not the mute for you. If you are looking for something to just turn the volume down a notch or two, this will do the trick. I also didn't notice any difference in playability of the fiddle (as I have with a different mute I tried).
